Ok, so What Are You Brewing was a hotty, as topics go.

Now I'm 15 pints into a keg I only filled on Tuesday and wondering if anyone else has a favourite at the moment ?

It's my second brown with US-Oh05 and it's better than the forst, maybe Ikept the temps down a bit during the scorcher we had in januray

I heard a rumour in local circles that brown bots are the new 3 Boys go to
Wow Christian Wow!!
I hope I haven't overdone it in the disrespect department but I just didn't pick up much Sauvin character at all (more Green Bullet). Part of the problem might be that I've brewed with quite a bit of Sauvin lately and probably used too much. I love the hop but have never quite got the results I've hoped for so when I buy craft beer advertising it, I expect it to nail it like Twisted Hop Sauvin Pils does.

In addition, golden ales have never really excited me - I often find a hollow, harsh bitterness dominates in the absence of lager or darker malt characteristics to counter act it.

Of course, it's not fair on any beer to be the warm up to my own Pale Ale either ;-)
I wouldn't want to drink it warm but I think that it has finally come of age. Hopefully.
the first year it came out i proclaimed it as the next big thing... it went: stumble, trip, stumble, trip, stumble, trip for a few years. And then BOOYAH! Ralph nailed it this year. even better than the first year I think. I still think it can get better but he's going to have to be good... because Sauvin might well become the next Riwaka.

Definitely in my top ten beers of the year... when we all start raving next month.
Honestly I thought that beer was so good I have gone out brewed an all Sauvin Golden last Sunday!!
Stu's Litigation was all sauvin - wasn't it Stu ?
that was excellent - will get some decent ale malt one day and do that myself
that beer is dead to me.... death penalty!
OK, it was shit and I won't let sauvin within a km of my kettle !
i'm going to drive past with some...
I'm hiding the kettle off-site
Pop it in my kettle! I'm only 10min up the road...
Wow. I love it. I need to try some more non-crisp steiny.

Seriously tho, this would be the bests it's ever tasted. First year: awesome. Second Year :Meh. Third Year: So good. In my opinion a benchmark for all NZ Pale Ales

Maybe try it again and i guess if you still don't rate it, then its the way beer goes. Oh, and try it on draught if you're taste was in was from the bottle
