Planning Your Next Brew.....What is It?

,Hey guys, I have only just started my journey of All-Grain brewing and have done 2 both American pale Ale, both different, and hopefully nice. I am planning on doing something different for next one

maybe a IPA or a Wheat Beer?? I want to progress in brewing always challenging myself, without going to extreme yet...What would you consider a progress of beers to brew from what is recommended for noobs to start with and where to go from there to try to do next? or just tell us what you are planning on doing for your next brew?

Do you enjoy wheat beers?.....I personally cant drink them so will prob never make one, Id suggest figuring out what you enjoy and go from there,Your tastes will develop as you go on I went from drinking only export gold to now can sit down with an oyster stout and enjoy it. Heck I even have an sour brewing away in my closet been there for about 6 weeks now to scared to look at it.

Haha. True I haven't tried s wheat beer just sounded nice in my book. I am a little scared of doing an IPA cause could be too hoppy? I like the Monteith's Radlier which has s citrus flavour to it and is a abv of 5% maybe that's the summer beer to do? Cheers

As Sam said ring the brew shops tell them where your at with your brewing etc and Im sure they will sort you out, Brewtopia are great for that

Why don't you try out an allgrain kit or two, great way to nail your process. I can highly recommend the citra zythos IPA from brewshop but there's lots of good ones about, I think brewtopia have a good range too.

Hey thanks Sam but I have tried recipe kits and not that impressed was no different from following a recipe from z book and buying ingredients from Brewtopia cause they are real good, hit my target OG so just want to do simple recipes first then tinker with them i did a hop swap in my last one too. I am considering a Amarillo Smash brew...? Cheers

My first brew was an American pale ale kit from Brewshop one hop cascade, with about 4 different malts, no need I reckon last one had a base malt and 1 specialty malt and 2 hops.

Sam's idea is a good one. AG kits are a great way to brew a good beer and learn, concentrating on your brewing technique... late you can modify the AG recipe to suit your taste.

Yeah but what's the difference between s AG kit and an AG recipe to follow?

Not much... its just all figured out for you,

But if you prefer there are heaps of recipes on Brewtoad, Beersmith and some to be found on this forum.

Yeah that's what I thought too but when my recipe kit came from Brewshop the hops weren't even divided into their addition amounts, so I bought electronic scales and had to work it out myself which was easy as. In general I would say that starting with a kit should be a good place to start with yes I agree with you. I will how ever brew what I enjoy to drink , that would be the go, and I will check out those places gif recipes. Where on here are they? Cheers mate.

Well Im just over half way through brewtopia's recipe of the week a few weeks ago and its tasting AMAZING....So they are good brews so good im ordering this weeks recipe to..
