try ringing these guys

Pressure Check Cylinder Testing have changed hands, and are now part of Servitec Group, at 30 Hargreaves Street, St Mary's Bay.

It's a bit of a mission to spot where to take your bottles - go down the drive beside the building, and there is a roller door on the side into the basement with all the filling gear. They can now do Eftpos. Price was $23 for a converted fire extinguisher fill.

Be interested to hear how you get on Tim. Great if PCCT do oxy!

Hey Peter - that's for Co2 not O2 isn't?

They do CO2, but definitely do other stuff also, ocy/acetylene for welding etc.

Just not sure (yet) whether they do that as small one-offs for homebrewers much like their pretty flexible arrangement with CO2.

I will go there and ask.   Have an oxy/acetylene set in my boot that needs certifying.

I don't think they do medical O   probably only welding but thats good enough for my home use.  Hard to see how they where running a business on only CO2 and LPG tanks...

Hey Guys, where did you guys get your O2 tanks from ?

I bough an out of date oxy gas plant that needs recert on bottles, but the oxygen is still full, so I am ok for a while, $200.  hoses are shot needs replacing but was good value.

If anyone is interested I have a BOC oxy reg and separate flow meter that I no longer use.

Hi Horace.

How much do you want for this? Any links to specs for each part?

Cheers!

Just got off the phone with Kevin from Survitec.  Very helpful man, but sadly they don't refill oxy. Like others have said they do refill c02 and also sell 2nd hand cylinders at times.

He said BOC, AirLiquide and SuperGas are the only places that do oxygen.  There is no way BOC or AirLiquide would do owner operated cylinders so I called Supergas to see if they could help.  Turns out they will as long as they are comfortable with the age/condition on the cylinder.  You will have to take it in for them to look over it.  Supergas for locations.

Will take mine in next Monday to see what they can do.  Will let you know.
