I know Garage Project made a beer dedicated to ANZAC Day, and as such I'm thinking something similar?
Using ingredients like Golden Syrup and Cornflakes, has anyone tried anything like this, and is there any sort of steer someone can offer me??

I had a go a while back with more or less conventional ingredients. Using an irish red ale recipe as a base, knocked back the roast a little, upped medium crystals to get it a bit sticky, and added a bit of amber malt and some oat malt. Aged into something ANZAC-ish. I suppose you could use a diacetyl prone English yeast for bonus points?

But more importantly, what sort of monster would put cornflakes in ANZAC biscuits?

Ha! I'm thinking of Afghans aren't I? Whoops!
People have said about using oats to make it more biscuity, and syrup seems like a nice touch. english yeast is a definite.

Coconut... is a key ingredient in Anzacs. Can go good in a beer?
