Just so I'm sure I don't miss out on anything great in Belgium I'm looking for recommendations on what should be seen. Looks like most people are suggesting Bruges is the place to go.

Here is some of my feedback so far

- Check out: » link to Podge on Beer: Tour 44 | Leuven & Lambic 2009

- In Brugges, a guy called Loda runs "Quasimodo Tours". They take in many breweries in a one day tour - highly recommended.

- Bruges there's a couple of bars there that are worth a visit. the pub that's been in continuous use for the longest in the world

- and another that has 100s of different beers each with their own glass. stay here » link to HOTEL TER DUINEN IN BRUGES

- » link to Brouwerij De Halve maan

Please add anything that may have been missed

Nice Work mate, I went to belgium a few years back, stayed in Bruge.
Did the brewery tour of Brouwerji De Halve maan, its a fantastic tour. and they even give you a free glass of beer when your finished.
The Bruge zot is a really nice easy drinking beer.
If your in bruge its a must do, I'd also suggest (I can't remember the name) a ber which has a big display of heaps of bottles of beer with each of their individual glasses, head in there, and they serve all sorts of beers.
They even seve a couple of them in giant belgian glasses. if your game enough.

Have fun, I know I did.

Actually if you want to come in Belgium then you can select a hotel for stay . You can try to stay in Hotel La Mafeleine . I think it is also cheap place for staying.

You should visit Brugge if you have time. No famous brewers there, but a lot of nice litte pubs and bars. Its really worth a visit!
