It's good to see an emphasis on late hopping here... if the buckets are anything to go by. That is a phenominal amount of hops for a 1200L batch. When we did Maximus - our late addition buckets werent that full (as you can see above)... but there was 10kg of dry hops afterwards. Will you be dry hopping this brew Stu?

4 additions; 60, 30, 15 and 0. Close to 10kg in those lost two.

I wanted 12g/L in the kettle but Steve didn't think his system could handle it, so we went with 10g/L. In the end the wort turned green at 1100L, and blocked the hoses, so we lost 100L of hop slurry wort to the pigs. Dropping back those could of grams proved to be a good call by Steve.

We'll sneak in a little dry hopping but nothing like 10kg.

Wait until you taste this Joe, it's such a different hoppiness than Armageddon and Maximus. It's less aromatic but much more assertive in the mouth. There's aa good load of malt carrying it, so it really has that sappy character that something like Sierra Nevada Celebration has (not that it is anything like that beer in any other way).

Ended up 10g/L in the kettle and 2g/L dry hops.
