Bahaha, there was a guy on AHB who was talking about how he was gonna try and take some hops with him to Bali or something to prove that it could be done untill it was pointed out that they probably wouldnt ask questions untill after the rubber gloves have been put away ;oP lol

I didnt bring hops back purely because of this, and that the plane landed at 12am and I couldnt be arsed getting a cavity search at that time of night!!

If you brewing back pellets you are ok, a few years back I brought back 5 x 11lb boxes of hops from Washington state in the US in my suit cases. I had to borrow an extra bag from Dave Logsdon from Wyeast to fit it all in. No problem, they didn't even want to open the foil pouch, didn't have to pay duty or anything.
