I like Wild Brews (haven't read BLAM) and while it's a good read 99% of the info can be found on the internet - although the same is true for HTB I guess.
Either way I'd much rather have a hard copy than read it on screen.

BCS sounds like something I should get. I do wonder when I do a new style for the first time what to even start with, and mate there are sooooo many styles that I have to try...man I'm going to have to drink more just so I can brew more!!!!!
I highly recommend BCS then, it's exactly what you're looking for. At least one award winning recipe from JZ for each style in the BJCP. Every one I've brewed so far has been good representation of the style, and the ones I entered in the homebrew comp brought home medals. It's a great way to brew a new style without flying blind and knowing you're brewing a tried and true recipe.
First equal with that is the brewingnetwork.com 'The Jamil Show' podcasts. Again by JZ, basically a 'talk show' on each style including a recipe - the audio version of the book so to speak.
It's a good show ... I've got all the podcasts on ipod ... along with BrewStrong, with old Jon and new John (Palmer) ... learning lots and itching to try them all out at once.
I doing an APA again and I'm changing the process a bit for hops.
I'm using a 90 minute boil and only putting the hops in at 10 and 5 minutes before the end of the boil. What I need to know is, do I still need to dry hop or will the lateness of the addition imprt enough hop flavor and aroma to hit style?
It comes down to personal preference really, dry hopping will give different hop flavour and aroma to late hopping.. You may want the added complexity of the dry hop, or you may want to leave it as a late hopped hop monster, both are good :o)
