I was gonna leave this as a bit of a suprise... for a case swap maybe but I had a killer idea that I havent seen anywhere else before. So I'm after a bit of feedback for a few points...

1, What grist / type of beer would the adjunct go best with
2, Would it be worth it?
3 Would it work?

So,... what is the mystery adjunct?

I was thinking about toasted sesame seeds! Like making a really toasty, bready beer... minimal hop contribution, and using 250 grams of toasted sesame seeds in the grist.

WhaddyaReckon?

It'd be like McBeer (you know - like the big mac has toasted sesame on the bun!)
And I thought doing an Belgian IPA was Extreme!! Fuck hats off bro you done it!! Not my cup of tea!! what would the high oil content of the seaseme seeds do to the beer? or just chuck seasame seed oil into your boil.
Nah - haven't done it yet. but I was dreaming of it last night. You can make the seeds pop like pop corn in the frying pan or oven as they are being toasted - this would render a lot of the oil out of them (I guess).

I reckon it would make the nicest little flavour in the beer - I love sesame seeds! Like on sticky BBQ pork.

Yum!
Try toasted carrot seed and I'll give some to the fluffy bun bun to sample !
I got meat in my beer why not make a bbq sticky pork beer? Grist= Rye spice, Smoked Malt say no more Seaseme seeds, honey sweetness something like that should try a 5l brew see how it turns out?
Could be the go... 5 Liters... haven't done a mash that small before!
Yeah you could do it in a pint glass!! lol;)
DON'T DO IT!!
Its funny when you look back on some of your earlier brewing stuff ups and I had one with oil.
I'd just started brewing (and this was before the days of beer kits). I decided to add extra malt to the brew as opposed to sugar. I was convinced this would give me a really good beer.
It wasn't until after I'd added about 3 cans and I realised the malt was enhanced with cod liver oil.
Ended up bottling it and between me and a few keen (15yo) mates we polished it off over a few weekends.
Didn't have much of a head though.
How bout poppy seeds instead Jo ;oP Could make for an errr, interesting beverage haha
I quite often use Wheatbix in my beer, I find I don't have so much of a conscience having a beer for breakfast
Seen a couple of recipes with Wheatbix - what flavours does it give to the beer? Wheatbix ones? I'm intrigued
Makes it taste like cocoa puffs........ sorry I meant wheat..... how about cocoa puffs in a chocolate stout?

Wonder if corn flakes are a good enough subsitute for real or popped corn?? Google me thinks...
Edit: looks like it could work with these ingredients:
Maize, Sugar, Barley Malt Flavouring, Salt, Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Niacin, Iron, Vitamin B6, Riboflavin (B2), Thiamin (B1), Folic Acid, Vitamin B12.
