Armageddon

Someone told me Armageddon is coming. Question is - should I start preparing my bomb shelter and hording beer here is Nelson? Or is this only going to be a North Island thing?

I recall Luke posting pics of the label, so I assume it's gonna be bottled. Luke?

Yes it is going to be bottled 500ml.

Yes the South Island is getting some through Craig Bowen at BeerNZ, he will be able to advise what stores will be getting some.

I know New World Blenheim will be getting some.

Expectations are that the beer should be hitting shelves around the country from the 20th July.

I forgot to say that the Beer Store will have some too.

As this is a first run bottling I will be allocating cases to stores based on there performance with Mayhem. So hopefully you guys won't go out and clear the shelves once it arrives.

Due to the very high dry hopping rate I suspect that the hop aroma will drop off quiet suddenly after maybe 8 weeks. So don't look at it for cellar. Drink it now.

Be patient I am looking at something for cellaring in 2010

Just about to do my first dry hopping of a pale ale - though it's already damn hoppy straight out of 5 days in primary.
