If you are looking at moving into kegging, read the comments on these boards & then pop across to AHB. There's good advice & ideas.

I have 9 kegs on my system,(It's a Ballock [Not Bollocks] system) 3 beers on tap. I hire from BOC, costs yeah I know, here in Napier it's easy. Sorted out leaks in my system, the last cylinder lasted approx 18 months

Use these forums to help you determine what you want & then search TradeMe.

My Bowser and other little bits have been sourced from the delights of bidding on line

The Ballock connectors are the heart of the system, no compromise, coz if they are poor, then leaks will be experienced, and no brewmiester needs that.

If you're looking at getting started with a small keg system....reg & fridge....not a bad starting bid IMHO

Keep in mind that this is a fitting for a standard 50L keg. To use it with a corny, you'd have to add a gas bottle/line/connector, and replace the existing fitting. You're basically paying for a fridge, keg stand, and font I think.

that is so scary! just turned on the computer to find one of these urns on trademe but just had to check what was happening on realbeer first... thanks for the hint!:)
Nice spotting Mr C, If it came up only a couple of days ago I would have been all over it, however I managed to get a hot water urn with temperature control from my father in law.... it's great having family who need someone to fix their computers....

"James, I need my computer looked at again for the x number of times." "Sure Kev, I need that urn."
Shit that's expensive!!

At that price 1 litre = $56 which is a rip off considering 5 litres is $65 at Dairy Suppliers.....

(Sorry if that is your auction....)
Yes, 5 times the price.
But if you don't want to shell out $56 for a lifetime supply it's an option I guess.
Best price option would be 5 brewers going fifths on the 5 litre ?
