Ok, so What Are You Brewing was a hotty, as topics go.

Now I'm 15 pints into a keg I only filled on Tuesday and wondering if anyone else has a favourite at the moment ?

It's my second brown with US-Oh05 and it's better than the forst, maybe Ikept the temps down a bit during the scorcher we had in januray

I just drank and rated Mussel Inn Golden Goose, very nice. As I was the 10th rater, and it now counts in the 'Best in Style' and is now the 3rd best pale lager in the world: http://www.ratebeer.com/Ratings/TopBeersByStyle.asp?StyleID=3
Go the Golden Goose!

I really enjoyed it and rated it quite highly a while ago. It's a nice little drop
Man, was today long and grim for anyone else?? Just now sitting down with a full Pint of Pliny clone with a roast in the oven... Will wash down the roast with my CS Scottish beer :o)
Tell me about it! Been back 20 mins and I'm a hightail clone down. Next up, Wobbly Boot Porter whilst I get the slow cooked lamb curry I made on the weekend warmed up :)
Unlucky for you guys :-P

Second day into a three day theory course for my apprenticeship, has been chill as :-D

Drinking a glass of my brown ale, 1272 takes a while to open up me thinks.

Could be - I kegged a brown last Friday with '05 and cascade.
I'd done it before with W1275 and got fantastic late cascade flavour. Not so this time round with the '05 though. The cascade is evident in the 60 min addition, but not the later ones. Either I'm too early cracking this or, well, the yare different yeasts, umm ad I guess they're different harvests of NZ cascade too ...
Similar to this really, big flame out and big dry hop and nothing for a couple weeks in the keg.

Then I pour a glass today and there's actually some hops there now.
I went snowboarding. Best snow at Mt Hutt I've ever seen. Drinking a Coopers Pale Ale. It's not that good...
I'm looking forward to the CS Scottish.
I've got my Tintin BPA in the bottle. All ready to drop off to the big guy. It won't be the smallest beer in th swap but it might be the skinniest...
Yum my 1st roast was a sucess! lol

Drinking a Pliny watching my flatmate make the base for my new monster mill ;o)

Might try your brown ale next glen..
I actually decided it's not infected haha. Was just green as beans I think.
new mill?
well, you're just a little mill slut aren't you. you'll be back. they always come back.

Mike told me you were getting one. Congrats bro. Self sufficiency is all good.
You'll still have to journey north occasionally so I can show you how bright my beer is ;)
