Hey guys

Allrighty then, I feel that due to all these new BIAB'ers and a few more new to traditional AG in NZ, that an inter island case swap could be the business??

Id like to organise something, so I need an idea of whos keen so I can get numbers sorted, then we can come together and work out a way that this will work... I know it seems daunting, but if the guys in aussie are doing state wide case swaps, theres not much difference in distance between say AKL and ChCh...

So come on guys, put your hands up, hopefully we get a fair bit of interest, id say we need at least 6 people?

Cheers

I only had time for one batch - I've now got 6 empty kegs a month out from Christmas!!!
4 bottles in the fridge awaiting delivery. I'll make up for it next time!
SIX kegs.... I feel inadequate with only two now....
Well im putting up 2 batches, ive allready put them aside... Its up to you James whether you want to put up one batch or two?

Barry, shame on you! 6 empty kegs? :o( Thats not good news matey
Yeah tell me about it. Holidays can really screw with your brewing schedule. I need to get my brew on quick smart. We should do these swaps 4 times a year at the least I reckon.
Might need to knock up something you can drink fresh? Like a GA or a Weizen, ferment, keg, drink :o)

Definately keen for 4 swaps a year, its just a wicked way of trying other beers, and not having to leave the city to do it, and hopefully next time we get a bit more interest, after everyone reads how awesome this one goes ;o)
Yeah a quicky for me is a bog standard cooking bitter, or a simple 4%ish hoppy pale ale. I find the hops really hide the greenness. Kegging means drinking it a day out of the fermenter :)

Yeah for me it's all about other people drinking my beers (as opposed to me drinking others). I get a kick out of that.
Kegging is just awesome like that! Im loving my set up so far!

Thats also a good point, allways good to get feedback on your beers aye, specially when its good feedback :o)
Done. Two batches = 8 bottles.
Good man :o)
Okay, the stout(s) will be ready for bottling end of the week. So, ESB, Irish Red, S-05 Stout or Wyeast 1084 Stout? Pick two! Though it'll be the near end of my ESB, which I think is tasting fantastic now :( Even Paul (brewer) at Wigram liked it!
My picks would be the ESB and the Wyeast stout. mouth watering just thinking about it.
or why not send all 4 ;)
+1 for all 4 ;oP hahaha
