Yeah mate - it doesn't!
Yeah thought so cunty yeast!! Its worse than S05!! but tastes good real neutral!! I just fined it in the keg as I was getting pissed off with it!! good yeast though!!
I've had it floc out really well after long cc'ing. But perhaps thats the same with all yeast?
21 days at 0c and it floccs like 1968 does in a couple of days at 15c!

I love it, though it is anything but neutral (maybe in your kick-ass beers it is).

1496?
Agree, it needs help! Koppafloc + 10 days at 2c + gelatine finings for 2 weeks = star bright beer.

I wouldn't describe it as neutral either.
For an english Yeast if find it quite nuetral it lets Both hops and Malt through!! Maybee balanced is the right word? As this is in an 3.6% Ordinary and its all malt and Hops!!
3.6%... Mike, I'm impressed.

It is balanced, but I find heaps of the English ones are. 1318, 1968, 1098...
Yeah I just wrote the English yeast off after S04 but in saying that the Wyeast Cask Ale PC yeast was probably one of my fav's, pity its not a regular yeast!! Oh yeah 3.6% I know soft aye!!
Not really a fan of the 1026, I got a shitload of diacetyl off of it, the third pitch was okish, but IMO nothing compared to 1469 - I think ill shed a couple of tears when I run out of it, cos we prolly wont see it for a while :o(
Hey Reviled - my jar of 1469 met a miserable demise on the weekend, and I'm looking at that 1026 now... how did you harvest it again?
Shit - just checked MrMalty - have a look at this!!!:

1026 British Cask Ale Oranjeboom and then was adopted by a UK brewery

Sorry about that jack, Mike...
How could you?!?! :o( I feel like ive lost one of my children!

1026 was harvested from the primary cake, so its gen 2, I repitched after I took a few bottles of trub and she was fine.. I reckon just build up a mass starter personally..
