Hey Chris, this is really cool. Was looking around over the last few days for pumps and thought making one of these would be a good challenge, nice to see someone whos given it a crack. Nice use of timing belt tensioners too! Have you got a right-angle gbox on the back of that thing or is the motor not mounted? Silicon hose I presume also? Cool as. Got one of your sparge arms off jo, you do nice work. Cheers.

Yeah good spotting pick a part special - belt tensioners and a water pump bearing/shaft the belt tensioners are mounted on ecentric bushes to allow adjustments for different dia/wall thickness silicone tubing.

Yeah right angle reduction box on the back which is mounted to the body.

Glad you like your sparge arm Ive not really had much feed back on them to date but the feedback I have had is all good!

Good stuff. Havent used your sparge arm yet as am building a new setup, but just in the process of accumulating all the bits, and couldnt really go past the sparge arm for the money and quality of it! You got any other brew-kit products in your arsenal? Ive designed up a mill (am an industrial designer), but with the strong dollar the US ones coming in are getting pretty affordable now, although havent costed it out fully yet.

I know what you mean with the mills even the ones from inibrew are well priced I built my personal one

but at the prices the commercial ones are selling for I could hardly get the materials.

I think it would be worth building them if you came up with a special design or wanted somthing that couldnt

be found so easily.
