I'll let you all know what the intent of the beer was after I get some feedback (don't want to sway any valuable opinion).

BOTTLED FROM THE KEG! Should be sans sediment.

Enjoy, cheers!

Nick got hold of this bottle and polished it off last week. Here's his thoughts:

Label read as a darkish NZ hopped bitter and that was a good description for this beer. Straight off there were good strong malts and that deceived me on the first taste as the colour and finish was pale and had superb clarity.

Minimal aroma of hop which was fine as it was all about the bitterness of the hops balanced with the malts. Got plenty of banana's later in the bottle once it had warmed slightly.

Overall a very drinkable beer that stood out on its own from some of the current styles of beer being brewed. Great work.
Awesome feedback, thanks Nick (and Matthew). Bananas is a worry something to work on clearly. Cheers.
S04 I think Barry. I brewed an ESB and used S04 and got banans too. I did let it get up to about 20-21c to get some esters but didn't realise the esters were going to be banana! What's S04 like if you keep it at 17-18c, anyone?
Dirty old S04. Dang it all.
