This beer was one of my first recipes, designed from snooping on forums like this, it was brewed 5L using BIAB. It was targeted as clone of a well known green bottled European beer from the flatlands but with a little more bitterness.
This batch was the first time scaled up to the Grainfather and also hop spider which seems to have lessened the bitterness somewhat. Its pretty much ready to drink, in bottle about 4 weeks so another week at room temp wouldn't hurt.

Hey Steve, I tried your lager on Saturday, lovely day for a lager. The beer poured well with nice clarity but quickly lost its head. It had a refreshing bitterness which disappeared quickly and was of a commercial lager amount of bitterness. Not a bad Heineken clone. Thanks Steve
Hi Steve - I drank this last night and was very impressed. I'm not brave enough to try and brew lagers - but one day!
Appearance - A little cloudy but maybe from my own pour. Head left fairly quickly. Good golden lager colour.
Aroma - Mild marmalade.
Taste - Slightly malty and a slight bitterness on the tongue.
I liked it Steve. I also had a genuine green bottle straight after and it was very similar - maybe more "cleaner" than yours.
Well Done.
Finally got around to cracking open the case swap beers. Don't ask - it's been a long tough year ... holding out for Christmas.
Appearance
Good clear pour, very little head, nicely carbonated - probably quite true to style. Colour a nice burnished coppr.
Aroma
Light aroma, smelled malty. Not sure I'd describe as marmalade, but my nose is limited.
Taste
Maltier than I expected for a lager. Nice bitterness, no obvious faults to me.
Overall a tasty beer, more than happy to have a few more. Probably a bit more full bodied than I expected for a lager, but I enjoyed it.
Clean, refreshing, good head, lasting lacing, perfect carb, well balanced, good body and mouth feel, agree that it could handle an increase in bitterness, you could serve this to anyone and they would emjoy it. Enjoyed this slot, thanks for sharing and sorry bout taking so long to get to it
