Hello all,
I am making a chiller coil and have located a 15metre coil of 15mm copper pipe for $112.50 inclusive of GST. If anyone is interested in purchasing something similar, reply to this thread. There are about nine more in stock that the store would like to get rid of.

Hi Dylan

Am thinking of doing this in the near future...Is 15mm not a bit heavy duty for coiling the pipe? I would have thought something around 12 mm microbore etc might be easier to bend into shape? Keen to hear your thoughts mate...Still rocking on totally new to this game :)
I'm picking that the 15mm stuff would be ideal. I got 3/8" (~10m) soft copper and I reckon it'll be a bit narrow
Hi Ged,
I didnt have too many issues bending the pipe - i did get a bit of a sweat up though. Although i have not yet tried it out, it certainly looks like it will do the job well.

I understand that one needs to increase the flow quite significantly when using 15mm pipe? I plan to use the hot outflow water to soak my white washing!

Will post a few pictures later on today.

Cheers - Dyl
Oh, and just to add that Brett at Edward Gibbon Plumbing supplies is the man you want to talk to if you want to purchase a coil. He still has 86 left!
