Nelson Case Swap / Get Together 13 (Sat 5th November)

Hi All,

Firstly thanks to Dylan for being a great host at the last crate swap. There was only a small group but it meant that the beer went along way and so did the excellent food.

We decided that I would host the next swap so it will be on Saturday the 5th of November from 2pm.

(Sorry to those who missed the last one, I know it's a bit of a wait).

The Address is 51 Britannia Heights, Nelson.

It was also decided at Ed's place (2 swaps ago) that we would all brew a beer with either all Kohatu or all Wai-iti (except the bittering addition) and that we would bring it to this swap.

All welcome and hopefully most people can make it.

I forgot to mention that I will be buying a few commercial beers as has been loosely discussed over the last few crate swaps. If everyone could bring a bit of money ($5 - $10) so we can split the cost amongst the group.

I have bought Pilsner, IPA, Coffee Porter and Stout from the Brisbane Brewing Co after a recent trip there but will also pick up a few more.

Hi everyone, I'll be there for sure.  I have a few beers to sample and also got the Sunshine Brewery range that I picked up during a recent trip to Gisborne.  The brewer (Geoff Logan) knows Don Wilson very well and said "his palate has a memory of its own".  I thought that was pretty cool. 

I was hoping we could discuss a recipe for a wedding brew also?
