Nothing this week, because my stocks are pretty high.

Just kegged an NZPA going on IPA, wanted to get a feel for some NZ hops since I've been using so much US stock lately.

Just dry hopped an IPA - for WBC and because they're tasty.

Fermenting a dry stout - so many hoppy beers lately wanted something that swung the other way a bit. And after a few pints of Guinness at a pub got me thinkin'.

Will be brewing a North English brown next weekend. The missus loved Newcastle when it was on tap at Thirsty Dog, so trying something that might take her fancy.
I have two IPAs on dry hop at the moment. Liberty IPA (not liberal IPA, Stu) which is the WBC one. The why is twofold, one: because I've been wanting to brew a nicely balanced example of a US IPA for a while now, and two, because conveniently, the WBC is a US IPA! I don't have high hopes for a result, but I do have high hopes that it will be a good beer.

The second IPA is a kiwi hopped variant on my old US IPA recipe. It's for a friend's party on September 20.

This morning, I brewed a best bitter, because it's a "bitsa" recipe I brewed recently from leftover malts I had lying around and 100% fuggles hops. It came out so amazingly good that I just had to brew it again. Slightly tweaked this time.

All these beers in the fermenters, and nothing on the bar. It's a hard life.
On Thursday I brewed a... um... something.
I had a whole bunch of 100EBC crystal, a big jar of washed weihenstephan lager yeast and some Saaz hops that all needed using soon.

So I threw together a brew that has a pale ale kinda grain bill and lager-y hops, yeast and ferment temperature.

Just something fun to try with what I had on hand.
