Word is Tracy Banner has returned to brewing. According to impeccable sources she has bought into Tasman Brewing Company (Richmond) and is now brewing there. Welcome back Tracy!

Finally you get the chance to brew that best bitter you always wanted to brew!

Awesome news. Thanks for passing it on Geoff.
Perhaps you can give some of the younger fellas an intro... I could certainly not do her justice but am excited at the prospect.
Tracy is undoubtedly the country's most famous female brewer.

The head brewer at Mac's immediately prior to Colin Paige, she was appointed by the Nelson brewery in its pre-LN days. After Mac's, she was 'promoted' to the position of brewery manager at Speight's and stayed in Dunedin for two years until returning to Nelson to work as quality assurance manager for all the Mac's beers (which, by this stage, were being brewed in several locations). She retained that position until the Nelson brewery closed, last April.

Mac's was Tracy's first brewing position in NZ. She previously worked at Greenall's and Cain's (formerly Higson's) in the UK. A delightful and friendly lady with a soft Northern English accent (Lancastrian?), she is also an excellent beer judge.
Good on ya Tracy! Im expecting some great things to come out of Tasman...
