I have just read the article on line about Steinlager prices overseas being cheaper than here in NZ

 

So... Lion Nathan are having an Adidas moment?

 

I hope the craft beer / SOBA market can take the opportunity to influence

disenchanted drinkers of flavored hop waters to try some proper beer

I was recently googling for something else, and found a pub in Scunthorpe, selling something Green King IPA for 99p a pint. It was a couple of years ago, but NZ$1.88 for a real pint (not a 400ml glass made to look like a pint) puts NZ beer prices in perspective. I would really like to know where all the costs are in buying a pint in a NZ bar.
