Poor Man's Conical Fermenter

These look interesting as a cheaper alternative to a SS conical fermenter, anyone have one? I'm still building the basic AG setup, so these might be on a future wish-list.......

I've heard these are crap because the angle of the carboy isn't enough to be able to drop yeast and trub.

The angle is supposed to be like 35degrees or something for optimal droppage.

Sorry can't comment on the plastic ones, but if you're going to brew in plastic anyway is really worth having a conical? I just don't really see the advantage of a conical in a small homebrew setup myself.
