Perforated stainless steel sheet suitable for false bottom

I have a left over piece of perforated stainless steel. It is about 500x500mm large and the perforations are 2.4mm Holes at 3.6mm Centres. I reckon you could use this for a chilly bin or a pot setup. I was hoping for $45 if you're willing to pick up from Parnell or Kohi in Auckland.

For a pot you could just cut it with snips then bolt a handle on, or do what I did and get a sheetmetal place to spot weld it.

Here is an example of the result: (this is my mash tun...not for sale of course).

Cheer mate. For this one, it will be flat and extend to sides of pot, but thanks for the offer.

How do you dome them? You got a big press and some jigs?

Not sure about cost of full sheet from S&T, but the Sefar guy mentioned something about $400. I think that would be their dumb-white-guy sell price though. I got my 780x1000mm piece for $70, including some slight bargaining.

I don't dome them I take Mike beers and he does it - Brendan Engineering in Glenfield, top engineers and often help me out.  I pay them too, some times.
