We popped in here the other day after all the SOBA chaps and chapesses had to head back to catch their plane. What a great time! Jim is a brilliant host - he was busy serving, so was happy to let Alex and I wander around his brewery and would pop in to tell us about it between pulling pints. And what a brewery it is! A total work of art. Chris Little, the man who built it, is clearly a god among men. I felt a stirring in my loins when I beheld it... Ahem, OK TMI. Anyway, if you're ever in the vicinity, this place is well worth stopping in. The American Wheat was my pick of the beers. The pale ale and IPA were flavourful, but I found the hop use was a little "muddy". Maybe it's Kiwi fighting American? :) We have Black Gold coming on at the RCC soon, so I am really looking forward to that. With a brewery like that, and a passionate guy like Jim brewing, I can only see these beers improving and kicking some serious ass in the future.
