Awful design. Bicycle frames are triangulated for good reasons. And what's with the gearing, and no front brake? It's a stunt/joke at the best.

I totally agree that bike frames are triangulated for good reason Smiffy, I have 9 of them at last count, and I think that in essence the design of the bicycle is as close to perfect as you can get (of course only if it is steel..). However for once I actually think this is not a bad re-interpretation, he overcome the implicit rigidity of designed structure with brute force, massive mandrel-bent tubing. It also only has structure where it needs it, in theory (stem, seat, crank, wheels). I more enjoy it for the art and the boozing implications. That Gearing also wouldnt be bad all-round given 29" wheels, you could probably ride that thing near anywhere in Auckland, and single speed means no reliability issues. Im all about the beer-crawling bike, my own pub warrior is single geared simplicity (from the 30's mid you)

I think that is a very cool thing. Judging by the guy's name he lives in Holland where the topography is flat as a pancake, so the gearing it no hassle. Ruiter means rider in Dutch, so there is a nice little bit of irony there too. But the flagon is what makes for perfection to me!

Love the styling in those drop handlebars - all you'd need to top it off would be an old school leather motorcycle helmet.
