Anyone bought copper lately?

Can imagine it's not too cheap at the moment but has anyone bought any 3/8" to 1/2" (9.5 - 12.7mm) copper tubing lately? Just wondering what you paid for it and where from...

Actually copper prices have about halved, so we should be seeing a flow through...

I got a plumber mate to hook me up a trade price - know any Plumbers?
I paid $85 about 6 months ago for 15m of 3/8

I think I went to Myco in New Lynn. Just ring them up and ask them for a trade cash price - the blokes seemed pretty friendly. I went to that new plumbing place on lunn ave and they wanted 140 odd. s**ts

Mico? Shit they're usually a rip off. They supply us at work so might have to do some cash sale on account styles haha.

Ah that plumbing and electrical place? Yeah they're a fucking rip off. Same with plumber's world across the road, had maybe like 4 preformed 1/2" and they wanted like $10 each for them, piss off.

Mine was from Enco at 140 and was trade price.

There was a guy on Tard Me selling 15M for $60.... no listings at the moment though.

I got mine from BOC. $70 for 15m. Was trade through my account tho.

Your's is 3/8ths though - which is fine, but it is cheaper. I got 15 meters 1/2 inch for $110 from BOC on account.

Lovely lads..Thanks for the update on prices...For anyone new reading this, google ' work hardening ' before you decide to unroll your 15mm copper prior to wrapping it around your leg to shape it for a cooler. Nearly had to spend a week on ACC after that 40 minutes, muscle tearing session :(

Cooler still looks like a blind man with one hand bent it but still works :)
