Since the late 1970’s, the craft beer renaissance has spread through the new world with brewers taking inspiration from the classic beer styles of Europe and modifying them by incorporating local ingredients. The pungent aromatic hops of Oregon and Nelson have been increasingly showcased as American and New Zealand brewers strived to create complex aromatic beers that could compete with wine for the hearts of consumers. Join Regional Beer Specialist Kieran Haslett-Moore as he presents a blind comparative tasting of American and New Zealand ales. This will be a fantastic chance to explore the essence of New World brewing and have some fun along the way.
Thursday 22nd or Friday 23rd of October, 6.00 pm start, Cost $35.00 pp Limit 30 places each session.
