you could also double that as a chiller set up. ice water in the mash tun wort thru the coil, epic set up tho dude

Cheers Dean, your right, I set it up so that it could be used as a wort chiller too, but haven't given it a good chill test yet.

about $500 all up, brought most of the parts from the US, then got Chris, banks brewing hardware, to weld it up.

nice that's a sweet as set up. will you use it to pre heat the wort before going into the kettle? would save a bit of time. I suppose you could use it to pre heat water going into HLT as well kind of a universal tool makes it even sweeter

The kettle has 2 x 2000W elements in it, and the HLT one 1500W. I am piping it all up with these 3 way valves, so that allows me to reticulate the wort / water / mash where-ever I want. So yeah to pre-heat the wort, or give it a boost in the kettle while bringing it to boil, I can pump it through HEX.

Hi Tim, yes I am. I have a new design, that is more compact. I have just received the new case prototype so I will be putting one together tonight and I will post up a photo of it.
