about $500 all up, brought most of the parts from the US, then got Chris, banks brewing hardware, to weld it up.
The kettle has 2 x 2000W elements in it, and the HLT one 1500W. I am piping it all up with these 3 way valves, so that allows me to reticulate the wort / water / mash where-ever I want. So yeah to pre-heat the wort, or give it a boost in the kettle while bringing it to boil, I can pump it through HEX.
Paul, are you still selling those wired up controllers ?
Hi Tim, yes I am. I have a new design, that is more compact. I have just received the new case prototype so I will be putting one together tonight and I will post up a photo of it.
