Does your lid seal fit properly? Mine is a little 'snug' ... keeps popping off.

Cool - I was wondering if it was just my one.

Its fun when it drops into fresh wort :\ Luckily I cleaned it properly.

Gah, typed a reply and it disappeared... There is a trick to getting the seal in the right place. Stretch it over the outside of the fermentor and 'roll' it onto the rim. Too far and it pops off, too little and the lid is hard/impossible to get on. I'm sure Aidan can give you a demo, likewise I can, I live up in melrose.

I managed to get it to work ... after much ... conversation ... with the seal.

I'll have a proper mess with it once the brew comes out of it.

Yeh, plenty of colourful conversation here too.
Dont open it, i.e Clean, sanitise, put the lid on and don't touch it is my advice. I won't be opening it to fill it or after beer is in there!

I bought this one from Baylands Brewery. not sure if he has any left.  it is 65L.
