Finaly done, My Electric Brewery Control Panel
Tags:
Awesome shane, did you manage to get the Alarms working on the Temp PID's I couldn't make sense of the documentation
yes in testing they work fine, i havent run through a brew yet with it as i have to fit the sensors and complete the wiring but the alarms did work.
Thats awesome! Do you mind if I ask what it cost in the end? and did you get your pid's and relay's from the US?
Im not sure exactly but would say somewhere between 600 - 800 all up. I import a few different temp controllers from China. The buttons etc i ordered from ebay but that was a hassle as some didnt turn up so had problems.
We'll you've done a fantastic job.... Is this for an electric or gas rig?
Its for an electric brewery, if you havent seen it check out theelectricbrewery.com this is what i based it on.
Nice one... Yeah I have been slowly collecting stainless kit and fittings for my own, just the control panel and electricity to get really..... The latter being the most difficuilt. Are you hiring a sparky to wire in some 30amp fuses? Or are you skilled in that department? I had an insane quote to get a couple of fuses installed, which has put my plans on ice for now
My elements are 3KW so i only need a 15AMP circuit for that and have a dedicated one.
