Sawmill Pilsner - Has anyone tried to clone the pilsner?

Biscuity pilsner malt and distinctive Motueka and Riwaka hops bringing aromas of lemon and lime. Nelson Sauvin for a tart gooseberry hit. Straw coloured appearance, brilliantly clear, with a long lasting white head. Crisp and bitter. Medium dry finish.

Thinking below at 72% eff and a 20L batch into Fermenter OG 1.047 IBU 40, maybe another 30g mot at flameout... ?

Hey,

had this beer for the first time two months ago.   It is one of the NW beer awards gold medals for this year.  Has a nice caramel body to it that makes a it a different from pandhead's and emmerons pils.

Did you brew the recipe above?   how close to the mark it make it?

no i didn't if I did i woukd change the bittering hops to noble or say pac gem

I would add the flavour hops late like at 5min and whirlpool and keep the riwaka out of the boil...

ie in the dry hop instead

going to do an nz pils for soba in a months time
