Ive had a couple of really low efficiencies lately. And probably all along its just that I haven't measured until now. I have a few Ideas on improving it but wondering what others are getting out of what kind of system.

Also wondering when scaling a malt bill for the efficiency of a system does it all scale evenly. Or do some grains give up their sugars/flavours easier than others.

My BIAB with regularly gets high 70s and 80s for mash efficiencies, but has hit up to 90%...

Mid range 5% kind of beers are where it seems most efficient. Bigger IPA type beers over 7% and the efficiency drops off down to 65 to 70%.

I mill quite fine (0.9 mm from memory?) and am careful with things like pH.

Batch sparge is the way, hit my recipes 75% efficiency bang on. Thanks for the advice everyone.

It is good to see you made progress on this.

Lately, I have gone the route of not doing any real sparge. Instead, I just turn my pump on, and recirculate for about five minutes before draining. This resulted in very clear wort, and I am still getting an efficiency of around 75%.
