Welcome to New Yorkers and what should I buy?

Have just spent the evening at Barcade in Brooklyn, NY; vintage ale night.  For all those Gonzo fans; a 2005.  Notes say black, really black, strong at 9.5, I would have out it higher,...outrageously huge.  Raisins....Lots of them...Oh, the owner is wearing my "Bar Ed" shirt...I've got two of his; one for Jonny one for me.

 

Oh, the "what should i buy" bit?  Some sort of NY beer...

Indeed. A large number of typos. I was a good night. Have packed all my notes but when I get home I'll post what I drank. The guys that own the bar age their own kegs and casks. It is impressive. I have given over the real beer website to quite a few people and talked up SOBA. One of the guys I met was a homebrewer and had a saison with Sauvin. Impression.
