I've just added an event - US homebrewing legend Jamil Zainasheff aka Mr Malty aka The Pope is visiting Auckland in mid-May. Please respond to the event so I know how many people are coming and can reserve space at the pub.

I haven't seen/heard the show yet, but JZ was giving Epic Pale Ale seriously mad props while he was here. But we shouldn't repeat that too much, otherwise Luke's grin will take over his entire face!

Seriously, both Luke & the boys at Steam should be very proud of the feedback.

I had a brief 5 minute chat with Jamil at the trade show at AIBA. I was moving on but just before I did I introduced Richard Emerson to him. 90minutes later I walked through the middle of the trade show and found them still chatting (virtually arm in arm!). #soulmates ;-)

He was a fan of 8 Wired Big Smoke and the Hallertau beers (and food) also.
