Malaysian Model to be caned for Drinking Beer

Just saw this on NZ Herald. Evidently the Mother of two is going to be given six strokes of the ratan to 'educate' her. She drank beer in a restaurant last year. Probably didn't have enough money to bribe the arresting officer. More Stone Age policies from MFW's.

Depends what type of beer it was - if it was Mega-swill, I could understand the punishment ;-)
