leftover malt

i was wondering if you can freeze unused malt (xrushed) as you order in increments from some places and sometimes only need half that. be nice to save it up?

I have not tried saving crushed malt in the freezer. I would think that oxidation etc from exposing the grain to the air would be what would cause deterioration in the crushed malt. Storing it in a vacuum pack in the freezer might retard the degradation?
