I just want to use this e-space to formally present Stu McKinlay with a massive congratulations on making 999 discussion contributions on the forum. Personally, I respect every contribution he makes, and have found it interesting reading what he has to say.

So on a personal note, congratulations on Yeastie Boys' success, congratulations on your latest family addition, thanks making a difference in NZ homebrewers lives, thanks for your provoticive posts that inspired me to join www.realbeer.co.nz and thank you for contributing often to the forum.

1,000 thank yous for my 1,000th post.

I'm lucky to have an understanding (forgiving?) partner who lets my obsession ride. If I stopped posting on here for a year I could add up all the minutes and go on a dream week long tramp... hmmm... that is tempting.

Looking forward to the next thousand. Somewhere in there I might even post a blog... I've got a couple in mind. And looking forward to a thousand batches of Yeastie Boys (we'll have to up the rate or that'll take 50 years - I make a 12 to 20 per year at home - and I already feel a thousand years old today!).

Also hoping to meet a few of you guys soon. Always great to meet someone and talk beer for hours like you've been old brewing buddies forever....


Anyway, must walk the dog.
