 and like hugh said it is just marketing.you could tear apart every beer ad on tv if you wished because  there only seems to be a half dozen beers at the most advertised on tv and they're all the usual suspects.

 

it might warrant a new thread and it may be totally impractical and my thinking may be all wrong but if most of the craft brewers chipped in and had an ad made about their beers under a common craft beer umbrella it would raise the profile and sell more beer than any internet campaign- i can't see it actually happening though.

If I see someone on here wants to get into homebrewing or know something I can help them with I'll dive in, just like in real life, but if I see a ridiculous marketing campaign from one of the big breweries, it's fair game imho.

I agree with you there, most of the big breweries make ridiculous claims about the taste/quality of their very average brews.

 

And I would LOVE to see an ad on TV about craft beer, nothing would raise it's profile better than injecting some well presented information into people's living rooms.
