I had a fermeter lagering in a fridge in the shed and once it had finished lagering I chilled the fridge more to make sure it was clear for kegging, heres the problem I totally forgot about it and three weeks later when I remembered I had a 20 Litre beersicle,  will the wort freezing cause any harm to the taste of the beer at all as I have thawed it but not sure if I should keg it or throw it out?

I would think it would be ok? Pretty sure it wont kill you... thaw it out taste it and see if it is still tasting ok. If it is chuck it in the keg and carb on up.

Didn't they used to make ice beer back in the day? Maybe you have just cloned it??

its in the keg, will let it carb and give it a go, I gave it a good shake when I put it in the keg just in case any goodness seperated, it can't be any worse than some of the mass produced swill,

I could be onto a winner, worse case I get drunk so it's not all bad

Never throw beer out, you have to drink your errors as there are lessons to to learnt from all mistakes. hic

I am presently chewing through a well under bittered IPA thats one that I am learning from, it's resonably alcoholic so it has one redeeming feature but its pretty rank, lessons learnt the hard way yum

I've frozen beer in my fermenter a couple of times and comes out fine, maybe even better than fine.  The beers that I have accidentally frozen have been some of the best beers I've made.  Definitely keep it, nothing to worry about.

we could trade mark ice filtering as Ralph said ice beer was trendy for about 7 minutes in the early 90's maybe its just in the marketing, but if you think about it if you chill spirits in the freezer they do get smoother,

we might have just accidentally stumbled on some nano beer technology that could revolutionise the beer industry, and all you need to do is buy a $6 fridge thermostat from ebay and wire it up your self and you too can have this amazing beer filtering technique

I also forgot to ask where abouts in NZ are you as I am about to take that smaragd hop beer for a test drive and see how it is

I'm in Welly so I'll have to settle for a description.

Its got a bit of a chill haze sadly  but still tastes good, it's supposed to be grassy, flowery and spicy, it has a slightly grassy flowery nose but not a big aroma,

taste is slightly grassy with a nice spice finish, kind of tingles the tongue, not too bitter and not over powering on the spices, finishes really nicely in the mouth, I really like this hop, lucky I have another 200 grams, it is supposed to be the german answer to simcoe but it doesn't go anywhere near it for aroma or bittering,

I will brew again but leave out the caraaroma and go for a lighter malt, the munich really comes through, really need a beer guru to take it for a test and see what they think

Heres the winner the wife says she likes it and she normally hates anything I brew so it must be alright or crap depending on the stand point but it does allow me to brew more if the wife thinks I am improving
