Holy crap, cheapest I can find it is for $22 at Halswell New World. By the way, for the ChCh'ites; it has an awesome selection of NZ beer. Best I've seen so far, and far better priced than Merivale Fresh-choice; still not as good as Regional W&S though :(. Pity it's kind of out of the way also...

Tell you what i had a pint of founder’s fair maiden on Friday night at the malthouse....what a meaty, diacetyl pile of marketing organic shit that was; all I wanted was a pint of Epic to make it all go away!

Remember that freight is can be big component to the price you end up paying on the shelf. Epic & Tuatara = expensive in SI because of that ditch of water and someone has to pay - either the brewer, the distributor or the customer...!. It's about $100 per tonne more expensive Wgtn - ChCh than it is ChCh - Wgtn.

Be happy with the fact that about 2/3 of NZ craft breweries are in the south island.

When will I be able to get epic in New Plymouth? I'm getting wary of driving for hours just to buy some... someone sort this out for me!!! And make sure it is $15.99 - and can score 5/5 for appearance please. Thank you.
