BEER MAKING COURSES

HY THERE,, I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNEW OF SOME BREWING COURSES IN AUCKLAND, IM REALLY INTERSTED IN LEARNING THESE PROCEDURE,, so any information about any kind of micro brewery,, or restaurant or something that gives this type of course,, i will be really thankfull,, cheers

Hmm.. road trip for those going to Beervana?? :) I haven't taken the Hutt train for years!

You could brew a beer in advance and bottle it on the day to give as a takeaway and let Mike keep the beer he brews on the day. Just a thought, easy for me to say though ;-)

True... the idea was learning how to bottle though - and Mike doesn't want to tie up too many fermenters for this. Plus - it is much more fulfilling drinking a beer that you made yourself (or helped make)... you should know this!

It sort of limits the catchment of people to Wellington only... but that's OK - I dont think that many people would come out to New Plymouth to learn!

Hi guys, great of you to do this. If it were a different weekend I would seriously consider coming up from Chch for it, unfortunately I'm taking the family away that weekend. :-( If you do another session, or someone in Chch puts one on, please let me know!! (or if enough down here are interested, we could pitch in for your airfares etc to come down here?)

Just saw this post, I'm sure we can arrange something next time there are a couple people around. Probably need something central to the city (maybe Avondale(ish) :p ) which is close to Poms! :)

Gentlemen's hour for a start? Maybe a tasting session and web cam set up for abuse advise from out of towners?

I would be in, but it will have to be after Beervana...I have a laptop with a camera and van bring my wireless as it is a mobile connection and can step up anywhere...

I'd come, but I am helping with the organising of Beervana so have no hope of making it that weekend. Bugger it, But, maybe it should be the first of many...
