I found a company willing to ship to NZ, and provide a certification that the hops are pelletised.

Would anyone be willing to go in on the order?

With the interest, I am checking on how much it would cost to purchase and ship about twenty lbs. if I can get it on to a container with another existing load, we should be sweet.

Michael I understand one of the most economical international postage options from the States is to use what they term 'flat rate boxes'. A $14 box will take 4 full lbs and a $20 box 7 full lbs (pellets with separate lb quantities). These are $US prices when I last checked it out a few months ago. It might be a good idea to check this option out with your supplier?

I'm keen, depending on quantity.

Yep, I'm in...

I'd be keen on some too, price dependent

be keen on centennial. rather get a shit load of cascade though :)

Definitely keen!

I'm keen.

Count me in Michael.

Hi Michael,

Im very keen, but the quantities I am looking for would probably push it over the $600 threshold for Duty and GST.  Could I  do as a separate order with your supplier to avoid this?  Can you let me know your thoughts - happy to discuss further offline with you.

Thanks

Fellow brewers:

I have good news and bad news.

My contact did not get back to me for quite some time. He was in hospital over the holidays, and he said he son sold off the stock.

The good news is that whilst he is out, he will be placing larger orders this coming Northern Hemisphere Summer for delivery next November. As such, I need to get in touch with him again in July/August.

In the meantime, I will look for other places to source these hops. The problem is that a lot of time was wasted waiting, and the hop season is now over. Wish me luck. I hope to find somewhere to get larger quantities sooner.
