Do you think it's best used with another hop in paler beers ?
I've never used Rakau but I've had onions from Riwaka but only when I've used it for bittering. Onions at 60min maybe?
I can see what you mean, there is a green onion, sauteed type of flavour from that keg.... it's on tap at the Blind Dog Brew Pub now for the night, so I'll see how the punters like it!

jt's right it's my dispensing room, which was hacked together tonight for a BBQ.
25 mins remaining on the sparge for this beer. There's a bit of inuendo insinuated in the name - 10 points goes to the first person who "gets it".
