Looks like an interesting beer. Let us know what those hops are like.
Yeah, it was supposed to have Carabohemian malt but owing to the fact it was sunday I subbed caraaroma as it was the closest grain at hand, looking forward to the taste test as it was a bit of a mission getting the hops, lucky I knew someone coming over for Christmas that could bring them in for me

Making an ESB today, with a dash of Special B, hops are a mix of whatever is left in the workshop, green bullet, cascade and motueka... Should be a cracker!
Homemade Special B..?
I have been looking for Special B and Victory to try... but Biscuit malt has been doing itself proud in a few beers lately.
I think Brewers Coop are carrying Victory and Special B? Pretty awesome ;)
They had victory and special roast when I was last there - no spec B though.
They sell caraaroma in place of spec B
They stopped selling Special B I believe, or it was not being imported any more. I scored a couple of kg's beforehand and been sitting on it waiting to brew this one.
Brewshop have it on their site now if people are looking
SICK!
Wellington is NZs best city to live in ... but sometimes... grumblebumble....
