Dunedin Craft Beer & Food Festival

A celebration of the brewing and culinary heritage of Otago and New Zealand!

The festival will return on 4th October, 2014 at the Forsyth Barr Stadium with more space for those lucky enough to get a ticket, and a quicker and easier electronic payment system that says goodbye to big lines and pockets full of clinky tokens.

The Dunedin Craft Beer & Food Festival is a celebration of our heritage here in Otago and the wider South Island.
After 150 years of highly successful brewing and being at the heart of some of the most diverse food produced in our fair country we finally have a beer and food festival!

The inaugural Dunedin Craft Beer & Food Festival in 2013 was our chance to provide the first taste of an evolving platform upon which craft brewers big and small can come together under one roof to showcase their innovations alongside a selection of the finest local food backed up by top Kiwi music. Festival goers will have the opportunity to be educated on the production techniques of their favourite craft brewers as well as having the opportunity to sample a diverse range of gourmet foods to match.

A range of unique beverages will be showcased on the day from breweries around the country with a special focus on Otago. Our festival will promote “quality rather than quantity” through the opportunity to buy taste samplers with an emphasis on trying the wide range of beverages on offer. We’re all about learning not only where it’s from and how it’s made but also how to get the most out of enjoying a good brew or a tasty meal.

The Dunedin Craft Beer & Food Festival aims to welcome a range of beer and food lovers as we set up an epic day out for locals, students and visitors from around our region and afar for an event that’s set be an annual fixture in our countries first city.
